Carmarthenshire is a county in South Wales known for its greenery and attractive seaside with coves and sandy beaches.  There are also lakes such as Llyn Llech Owain with its rich birdlife.  If you enjoy wildlife watching there are a number of wetland centres in Carmarthenshire to visit to spot your feathered friends.  For pretty seaside views there is Burry Port Harbour with its colourful boats and if you are looking for a sandy beach, Pendine beach and Cefn Sidan beach come highly recommended.

For a touch of history, visit some of the castles in the area such as Llansteffen castle and Cennen castle.  There are also a number of attractive gardens to visit including the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
