An attractive single-storey Cotswolds barn conversion provides impressive two bedroom holiday accommodation in a rural setting. The detached country cottage is situated with the grounds of the owner's farm on the edge of the village of Upper Seagry in the beautiful country surrounds of North Wiltshire and near to the historic market town of Malmesbury. The property combines notable character features like its high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams with modern comfortable furnishings. The king size master bedroom is served by an en suite bathroom with shower facilities, while the separate bathroom includes a jacuzzi bath.

The cottage is reasonably priced, has a broad appeal, is situated close to all the local amenities in Upper Seagry and offers easy access to the surrounding sites of interest in Wiltshire.

Nearby towns include Royal Wootton Basset, ten miles away. Nearer are pretty villages to explore such as Great Somerford, Sutton Benger and Christian Malford.

This Upper Seagry self catering cottage has full oil central heating with additional heat from electric woodburner-style stove in a raised fireplace. Electric oven with halogen hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washer/dryer (in adjacent outhouse), dishwasher, colour TV with Freeview. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Small raised patio with garden furniture. One well behaved dog welcome at a charge of £10. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles. Pub 1 mile. Please Note: This is a working beef cattle farm and cattle are nearby. Please Note: The owner has one dog. Please Note: There is an access ramp available at this cottage. Wiltshire is quintessentially English and offers visitors a taste of rural English life. With plentiful green fields, pastures and gentle hills, Wiltshire is a pleasant place for a country cottage holiday. So attractive is Wiltshire that almost half of the county has been declared an area of outstanding natural beauty, could there be a better reason to visit Wiltshire.

Situated in beautiful countryside only five miles north of Chippenham and six miles from Malmesbury, the village of Upper Seagry is set in the south of the Cotswolds. This rural location provides a great base from which to explore this fascinating area and visitors can enjoy ample footpaths and bridleways, or alternatively, take a trip to Malmesbury – boasting a 12th Century Benedictine Abbey. The Cotswold Water Park offers a great day out, whilst Westobirt Arboretum - with its extensive collection of trees and shrubs - is not to be missed. The picturesque village of Castle Combe is within easy driving distance and is well known for its car racing track whilst the quaint National Trust village of Lacock is also close by and was used as the setting for the BBC TV serial, ‘Cranford’. The impressive Roman city of Bath, Bowood House, and the ancient stone circle at Avebury are all within an hour’s drive and are well worth visiting.
