Perhaps a winter wonderland location like Poland appeals. Log fire, ancient medieval squares. If you go between January and March, enjoy snow and horse-drawn sleigh rides.

The house sleeps 4-8 people. Lovely Polish style log cabin room and superb views. The location is excellent for walkers and families during the summer months, lots of trails and cycle paths. 3 national parks within half an hour's drive, some with wild brown bears.
