This is the lovely Dons Barn. Warren Lodges are a group of four carefully designed spacious timber lodges, situated in a sheltered hollow at the end of a farm track and surrounded by our private nature reserve, on the edge of the Minsmere marshes between Theberton and Eastbridge. Walks through woods and marsh meadows to the beach down the lane from the lodges. The pine-clad interiors are furnished and fitted to a very high standard, well insulated, double glazed and heated by gas convectors, with a log effect fire in the lounge area. Accommodation all at ground level comprises: steps up to south facing verandah and entrance, lounge/kitchen/diner approx 20 x l6 feet, hall to bathroom with bath (shower over), handbasin, wc; one double bedded room with 4ft 6in bed, one twin bedded room with 3ft beds. Marsh harriers, barn owls kestrels and sparrow hawks hunt regularly over the surrounding land, skylarks and nightingales can be heard in the season, and many rare and interesting birds can be seen at the nearby RSPB Minsmere reserve. The Old Forge is situated in the heart of an attractive conservation village and area of Redgrave on the borders of Norfolk and Suffolk. It is a beautiful Georgian cottage which has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard. Original period features include inglenook fireplaces, brick floors, heavily beamed and feature bread/faggot ovens. There is a 100ft established country garden to the rear, which is enclosed when the gates are shut. There is a small drive for 1 car and on street parking. Redgrave has a rich history, and former residents of the village include the 16th/17th century philosopher and statesman Francis Bacon. Suffolk Groton Manor Farm

Groton Manor Farm is set in 3.5 acres of its own paddocks and garden with woodland to the west of the property.  We have recently converted old farm buildings, a former piggery, stables and cattle shed into a unique living space. Therefore if you are interested in staying with us I like to think of you as our guests as a stay with us will mean you will be our temporary neighbours. Now to a description of the property available to you. There is a spacious entrance hall that leads to the kitchen, dining/sitting area, a stunning 40ft by 15ft room with exposed oak and elm beams. Another door off the entrance hall takes you to the family bathroom, while yet another door takes you to the piggeries. The fully fitted kitchen has a range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and microwave. A large dining room table sits eight comfortably. The sitting area has two large sofas, an armchair and a squashy footstool providing plenty of places to relax with a view over the pond, double glazed doors take you on to the terraced walkway. There is also 37 inch flat screen TV (FreeView). At the west end of the sitting room a door leads you to the master bedroom suite with dressing room (can double as a nursery room) bedroom with king size bed, with adjoining bathroom with a shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail. You can lie in bed and see the sunrise from the east through the floor to ceiling double glazed doors that provide access to the terraced walkway. The piggeries provide three delightful bedrooms; one with a king-size bed, the middle bedroom with two single beds and the end bedroom has a double bed with outdoor access to the terrace overlooking the pond. As they were former piggeries they lead one room in to the other, which are perfect for families with young children. The family bathroom has a large double ended bath, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. The exposed elm beam in the bathroom is charred black from a fire that swept through the old dairy in the early part of the twentieth century. According to an old newspaper cutting (circa 1918) one of the last horse-drawn fire engines used in Suffolk was seen charging up Butchers Lane to put out the fire at Groton Manor Farm. The fire engine would have pumped water from the pond to extinguish the flames which would have been seen for miles as we are positioned at one of the highest points in this area of Suffolk. On a beautiful clear day it is a great spot to paint as endorsed by my father-in-law who is a keen amateur artist. Groton Manor Farm dates from the fifteenth century, the area on which the house stands has been farmed since Roman times.
