This is the original farmhouse of Doxford Home Farm; this exceptionally spacious house offers the very last word in gracious living, making a wonderful base for those requiring comfort, tranquility and style.

There is a large drawing room with an open fire, a sitting room and a garden room. All three rooms have open views, comfortable seating and superb fixtures and fittings. As with all the cottages at Doxford there is masses of books and good quality pictures and prints.

The large farmhouse kitchen is superbly equipped with granite worktops and a full range of modern equipment, including an American style fridge and range cooker.

Beyond the oak refectory table and chairs at the southern end of the kitchen, through double glazed doors, the south facing garden room has stunning views through the trees to Doxford Lake.

Upstairs here is a double bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom, a twin bedroom with zip link beds, which can be made up as a king size double, and a second ensuite bathroom and a third twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is a very spacious fourth twin bedroom and family bathroom with bath and shower.

Our pretty Gate Lodge is a tranquil hideaway for one or two people. Situated near Athboy in County Meath, the cottage is at the entrance to a small Georgian farmhouse and overlooks mature parkland and unspoilt countryside.

There is a daffodil edged walk to the cottage in spring.

The cottage has three comfortable well furnished rooms with open fireplace and French doors to the terrace. Shower room. It has its own secret graden with a stream and in summer roses and honeysuckles scent the air.

Honey Cottage is a delightful semi-detached dwelling situated up a quiet lane in the village if Dinnet, in the heart of Royal Deeside. Built out of granite in the 19th century, Honey was originally used as a cottage to accomodate workers from the local estate.

East Cottage: Sleeps 4/5 - The Ghillie’s cottage has recently been modernised and comprises 2 twin bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room and large modern, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher etc. The cottage has full oil-fired central heating and is attached to the Stalker’s cottage which is occupied by the Estate’s stalker and his wife who acts as housekeeper for the Lodge (which can also be booked for 14+). 

The 11,500 acres Estate is ideal for Munro baggers, with 4 Munros (mountains or hills over 3,000 ft.) on the estate and 8 others within 10 miles. There are Brown trout and sea trout and the chance of a salmon on 3km of the River Carron and also trout in two lochs on the Estate. A boat is available by arrangement with the stalker.  One hour's drive from Inverness; local shops are in the nearby village. Beaches and the West Coast of Scotland to explore are forty minutes away. And the Highlands are all around.
