Doxford Farm is a 500 acre working farm situated amidst undulating, unspoilt wooded countryside, five miles from the coast. We offer comfortable family accommodation in the form of 8 stone built terrace cottages as well as the farmhouse annexe.

The farm has both arable and livestock enterprises and supports various conservation and environmental stewardship schemes. The cottages are located at the end of a no-through road, thus creating a safe and quiet environment for our guests. The lake holds brown trout and our guests are welcome to fly fish by arrangement with the estate manager. We have five miles of wooded and lakeside walks and trails for our guests to explore the farm and our diverse wildlife.

 We have 9 Self catering farm cottages, all 3 to 4 star. All cottages are well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezers and microwaves. There is a communal washing room equipped with an additional washing machine and tumble dryer. All linen is provided but we ask you to bring your own towels (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). Twee Gebroeders (Two Brothers) is an 1897 Dutch sailing barge, luxuriously refitted in 2010 to offer elegant waterside living for 4. She is a static barge and has a permanent mooring on the River Waveney at Burgh St Peter marina on the Southern Norfolk Broads. She makes an ideal base from which to explore the Broads, Southwold and the Suffolk coast, Gt Yarmouth and the beaches at Lowestoft.

The accomodation consists of a galley and saloon with gorgeous red range cooker, and solid wooden joinery. The saloon area has an upholstered seating unit, dining table, flat screen TV, HI-FI and DVD player and doors outside to the cockpit. The double bedroom is a romantic cabin with portholes all round, luxury linens, and solid wood furniture. The twin is a cosy room ideal for children with standard 2'6 beds, TV and playstation. There is a luxury shower room with handmade Dutch tiles and a really good shower.

Outside the barge has an open cockpit with seating for 6 and room for a BBQ onboard!

Cotterill Farm consists of five four star cottages on a non-working farm in a superb but not remote central Peak District country location. The cottages have been given the newly introduced and fairly rare 'Gold Award' by the English Tourism council for 'exceptional quality in all areas but in particular with regard to service' Two cottages are for four persons, two sleep three (one of these is particularly large and is all on the ground floor and therefore particularly suitable for the less agile), and one sleeps only two.  The owners never rest on their laurels, constantly trying to improve fitments, furnishings and services offered. The cottages have exposed beams and stone-work. The cottages are 300 yards up a private drive and form part of a courtyard facing outwards over the surrounding fields and dales to give excellent views and some degree of privacy. In front of these cottages is a large grassed and garden area. There is ample area for off-road parking for all cottages. Downstairs is a twin bedded room, the beds can linked to make a six foot double bed. There is also a stylish modern bathroom downstairs.

Upstairs is a simply stunning bedroom with a five foot king-size bed and an additional full size single with an ensuite shower room.

Outside the cottage is a large Mediterranean style entertaining area, with attractive outdoor furniture and barbeque, leading to a safe and secure lawned garden. The barn has lovely views across our fields.
