A delightful, grade II listed and 300-year old Welsh cottage full of period charm in Snowdonia National Park. Located a mile from Llanrwst and 5 miles from popular Betws-y-Coed, Pen-y-Fron is a detached cottage on the slopes of the Conwy Valley. The property sleeps 4 people in comfort, and the accommodation here is full of character, with two lovely bedrooms, one king-size double and one twin room, as well as a stylish bathroom with roll top bath, shower, basin and WC. The living areas of the cottage are cosy and welcoming, and include a large farmhouse kitchen with a dining area, and a comfortable sitting room with with an original black-leaded stove containing an open fire in the inglenook fireplace. From the 2 ft thick stone walls to the exposed beams throughout, many period details have been retained. Great for a group of guests, this might also be the cottage you are seeking for a special romantic break with your partner.The sunny garden contains a summer house and has lovely views of the distant hills. There is off road parking for 3 cars. Being so close to the amenities of Betws-y-Coed and the magnificent landscapes of the National Park, Pen-y-Fron makes a wonderful Welsh retreat for couples and families alike.

Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent, extra wood purchased via honesty box. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Stairgate provided. There is private parking space for 3 cars, garage, lockable bike shed. Front lawned garden with summer house, patio, furniture, barbecue and hill views, additional side patio. Two dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The market town of Llanrwst is located in the lovely countryside of the Conwy Valley, 5 miles from the popular inland destination of Betws-y-Coed. Llanrwst has a selection of shops and pubs, and is an ideal base for making the most of the activities on offer in this region. There is plenty of opportunities for walking in the surrounding hills, with the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park providing many trails for walkers and climbers of all abilities. Watersports are on offer in the region, and the sheer beauty of the scenery will sooth even the most frazzled city-dwellers soul.
