Holiday cottages with a hot tub for relaxing self catering holidays. People are often split into two camps regarding hot tubs - they either love or hate them. The 'pampering' brigade who also delight in a massage and special spa treatments are likely to consider a hot tub a simple pleasure. The more spartan, brisk shower types who think that all this personal indulgence is a waste of time and money may not be quite as attracted by the notion.

Communal hot tubs add a sociable element to a self-catering holiday. Some holidaymakers enjoy chatting to fellow guests whilst bubbling away in their hot tub and for them the pleasure is the relaxing environment it provides, another location to meet people and discuss places visited .
