Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Orchard Barn at Woodhayes Farm offers comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. The living spaces here are over three floors with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area that boasts a cosy wood burning stove. There are three bedrooms, a king-size double, a twin and a further twin with zip-link beds. The property also benefits from sitting rooms on the second and third floors, on the second floor the sofa bed can be used to increase the occupancy to 8 guests.
Outside this east Devon country cottage you can find an orchard garden with outdoor furniture and a barbeque, with stunning views across the valley, this is perfect for relaxing on an evening.
Guests with dogs would enjoy walks through the hundreds of acres of our own farmland, woodland and along the riverside.
This barn conversion is located perfectly, so guests can enjoy a rural break, but are also within close proximity of the coast.
Orchard Barn is located in a farm courtyard, adjoining a large farmhouse where the owners’ family offer bed & breakfast accommodation. Just a couple of miles outside of Honiton, this farmhouse is in a beautiful location, away from main roads, giving guests that much needed peace and quiet. Guests at Orchard Barn are welcome to explore the 150 acre farm and experience the ancient parkland with 300 year old oak trees and 16 acres of woodland, there is even a mile of river which creates some wonderful scenery.
There are all the facilities you need to enjoy a self-catering break at Orchard Barn, the kitchen is fully-equipped with electric double oven & hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, the lounge also has a large wide-screen TV and DVD player, WiFi is also available. Central heating and seasonal logs for the wood burner are included with your stay, as are bed linen and towels.
For those travelling with small children, a travel cot, highchair and a safety gate are available on request.

Honiton is a super market town! Situated on the Eastern side of Devon, Honiton is renowned for its huge number of antique shops. On Tuesday and Saturdays there is a street market up and down the main high street. At the eastern end of the town, you can find the Honiton Lace shop and museum. Queen Victoria's Christening gown was made of lace made in Honiton. Also, Honiton Pottery has its own shop in the town where visitors can purchase original pieces.
For dining out, The Holt is a fantastic pub and the western end of the town. This 'gastro-pub' offers a great selection of real ales (produced by the Ottery Brewery who are based on the Blackdown Hills) and a great menu for either lunch or an evening meal. Also, the Boston Tea Party is a characterful coffee house which serves freshly prepared sandwiches, great coffee and a delious selection of cakes!!. Honiton is well worth a visit for a short cottage break or longer stay at any time of year!
The beaches of south and east Devon are within easy distance, there are National Trust houses with magnificent gardens to visit, a donkey sanctuary and much more.
