Grafham is a small Cambridgeshire village located near Grafham Water, a reservoir with a Wildlife Trust site.  For a cottage break surrounded by beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside you may want to consider a stay in or near Grafham.  The area around the reservoir is reputed to be particularly picturesque with an assortment of woodlands, wetlands and grasslands.  A number of woods surround Grafham Water including Diddington Wood, Ferry Wood and Littless Wood and are rich with wildlife from butterflies to dragonflies and birds.  At the edge of Grafham Water is Plummer Park.  Grafham Water is known to be an excellent location for birdwatching and for spotting rare birds such as osprey.
