Warren Cottage is a cosy and secluded two-bedroom woodman’s cottage in the South Herefordshire countryside, adjacent to the ancient Aconbury Woods. It offers easy access to the Black Mountains, Hay-on-Wye, the river Wye, great country walks a range of pubs. There is a well-stocked shop in the neighbouring village. Warren Cottage has two bedrooms. The ground floor is predominantly open-plan with a low beamed ceiling. The recently installed kitchen is well equipped with a new cooker and fridge, a microwave and plenty of utensils. There is a dining area, a cosy corner with two comfy sofas and a Clearview wood-burner (the cottage’s main source of heat), a separate bathroom (with heated towel rail) and loo. Upstairs is one double bedroom and a single room both with duvets and linen. Both have small electric radiators. When the cottage was bought it was in a state of disrepair. It has now been lovingly renovated and is available to rent to those who wish to enjoy its peaceful rural setting.
