Warren
Cottage is a cosy and secluded two-bedroom woodman’s
cottage in the South Herefordshire countryside, adjacent to
the ancient Aconbury Woods. It offers easy access to the Black
Mountains, Hay-on-Wye, the river Wye, great country walks
a range of pubs. There is a well-stocked shop in the neighbouring
village.
Warren
Cottage has two bedrooms. The ground floor is predominantly
open-plan with a low beamed ceiling. The recently installed
kitchen is well equipped with a new cooker and fridge, a microwave
and plenty of utensils. There is a dining area, a cosy corner
with two comfy sofas and a Clearview wood-burner (the cottage’s
main source of heat), a separate bathroom (with heated towel
rail) and loo.
Upstairs
is one double bedroom and a single room both with duvets and
linen. Both have small electric radiators. When the cottage
was bought it was in a state of disrepair. It has now been
lovingly renovated and is available to rent to those who wish
to enjoy its peaceful rural setting.
The
cottage's owners live 100 yards away across the orchard in
Warren Farmhouse and may provide fresh bantam eggs if they
are available.
