The Hen House is in Berrington near Ludlow, Shropshire. It sleeps just two people in a pretty bedroom with a large en suite bathroom and an attractive sitting room with kitchen. Brook Farm, where the cottage is located, has nearly nine acres of gardens, woodland and meadow which you are welcome to enjoy for walks picnics and barbecues.

The area is little-known but beautiful with many orchards blossoming in May, lovely hills for walking, much wildlife, historic castles and country mansions, black and white villages, lovely gardens and a reputation for excellent food with many producers open to the public as well as some of the country's best restaurants.

There are many special extras that set this cottage apart from the norm. There's a welcome hamper of local and/or organic produce and an invitation to help yourself to salad and vegetables from the kitchen garden. Aromatherapy massage, manicures and pedicures are available by pre-booking and an evening meal can be waiting for you on your night of arrival by arrangement. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome.
