The 19th century stable block at the Old Stables on the edge of Salisbury in Wiltshire has recently been converted into three separate self-catering units; each sleeps 5 or 6 people depending upon size and age!

The ground floor has excellent facilities for either the elderly or disabled. Sliding doors, wheel-in showers with seats, grab rails in the bathrooms, and toilets which can be mounted from either side have been included to make life easier. The owners are happy to help with specific needs. The cottages are ideally situated for a visit to Stonehenge, Salisbury with it's cathedral, the New Forest, historic Old Sarum, Longleat with its lions and the beautiful countryside of south England.

Fowl Green Cottages near Whitby in Yorkshire
A traditional hill sheep farm set on a south facing slope, close to the village, road, railway station and wheelchair accessible bridle paths. Converted barn, cow byre and pigsties surround courtyard with gardens, garden furniture, BBQ and covered car parking. Accommodation is four cottages, accessible to all with ground floor bedrooms and adapted bath/shower rooms, natural slate/paving, non – slip floors, under floor heating and fully equipped adapted kitchens. All the cottages retain evidence of their original function, for example, the stone troughs in the pigsties. A cot and high chair are available if required. A wheel-in shower chair and toilet riser seat are also available. Linen and towels are provided at no extra cost and all heating is included. *All cottages are ETC 3 – 4 , mobility level 3, hearing and vision level 1. All have wide doors to all rooms**. The bathroom, which is downstairs, is easily accessible with plenty of space. It consists of toilet ( with grab rails), washbasin, with lever taps set into a vanity unit and a bath with thermostatically controlled mixer taps and shower unit and a drop down side for easy transfer from a wheel chair. We hope that it is fully accessible to everyone in the family. In addition, there is an accessible communal lounge/ games room with open log fire for groups to get together. There is a TV, video player, DVD player, Hifi and a selection of games, books, tapes, CD ’s and DVD ’s. The Mowbray Apartments, Bridlington Yorkshire - mobility scooters can be hired
Two budget priced ground floor apartments with en-suite, perfect for anyone with mobility problems. The apartments have views of the Bridlington, Yorkshire seafront. Mobility scooters can be hired locally if required. Each apartment sleeps 2 people plus an extra 2 on a sofabed. Walkers Farm Cottages in Somerset

Walkers' Farm Cottages lie in the quiet hamlet of Stathe between Burrowbridge and Stoke St. Gregory. Burrowbridge is where Arthur burnt the cakes!! There are four units of accommodation. The Hackney Stable was built in 1884 (date shown on a brick) and used for stabling horses and hackney carriages via the central arches. It has been redesigned for high comfort living accommodation with large brick arched windows giving beautiful views across Sedgemoor. It is disabled-friendly, situated at ground floor level to facilitate wheelchair access, with a wheel-in shower. It has a light airy relaxing atmosphere and comes equipped with comfortable sofas and chairs and a fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven, iron, TV, fridge and washing machine. Besides easy wheelchair access, other disability features include: electric sockets at waist level, easy taps, no steps or ramps and all rooms at ground floor level, and a wheel-in shower. Level II accessability. The Tallet is an old Somerset name for a loft where the hay was kept and then thrown down into the hay racks of the horses below. The steps to the loft are retained but only used now in cases of emergency escape! The Tallet has been redesigned for high comfort living accommodation. It is situated on the first floor (up four steps only) affording magnificent views over Sedgemoor through its large windows. Ladyhole House - Old Stables in the Peak District - sleep 6-7
The Cottage at Ladyhole House, near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, is an Edwardian Bothy luxuriously converted in 1995. It is set at the top of a sweeping drive lined with mature chestnut trees and a carpet of daffodils in the Spring. It is set in mature gardens and grounds with many beautiful trees and a walled garden. Guests are very welcome to enjoy all that the gardens offer including a tennis court, croquet and barbecue. There are also stables and grazing near to the house. Quiet countryside surrounds the house, where it is possible to walk and cycle. Ashbourne, the local market town is only two miles away. The cottage has been granted a 5 star rating from the English Tourist Board. It sleeps 6 -7 people in comfort and is decorated to a high standard with many personal pictures and nice furnishings. The accommodation comprises, upstairs 1 large double or twin-bedded room which can take a put up bed. Next door is a good sized bathroom and airing cupboard. A further twin bedded room with en suite shower room completes the upstairs. Downstairs is a twin bedded room with lavatory and basin opposite. The kitchen with breakfast table and Rayburn, has a utility room adjacent. This leads through to a sitting room with large conservatory leading off. A further dining table is situated in the conservatory which also opens out onto the gardens. This is lovely for romantic evenings or even barbecues outside. The cottage is very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, television and CD/DVD player. The main bedroom also has a television. There is an open fire in the sitting room and logs and coal are provided in the cost. A lock up room is available if needed and there is ample room for parking. Eastcroft is a charming miner’s cottage renovated to a high standard to include central heating and modern appliances and yet still retains its old country charm and home from home appeal. Swanlands, the larger of our 2 cottages, has been lovingly converted offering spacious and well equipped accommodation. Beautifully furnished with exposed brickwork and open beams. Floor to ceiling windows line the west facing side off the cottage letting the afternoon sun stream in. Ground floor living with a spacious open plan lounge with modern fitted kitchen and dining area, bathroom with heated towel rail and bath with shower over and a large double and twin bedroom. There is a patio and garden area with furniture to relax and unwind. A BBQ is available.

Facilities include; central heating, washing/drying machine, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric cooker, colour TV, DVD player, CD player and hairdryer. A small DVD and book library, games, extensive tourist information and maps are available.

We are able to provide a travel cot, highchair, changing mat, sterilizer and baby bath.

Sycamore Farm Cottage in Harby near Melton Mowbray is surrounded by open countryside. A new barn conversion in 2003 it has a sitting and dining area with a vaulted and beamed ceiling, a luxurious fitted kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite, 2 twin bedrooms, a spa bath or hot tub for four.
