There is excellent walking "from their doors" with the hidden Devoke Water only three quarters of a mile away where you can walk and fish amid fantastic scenery. 

Just 3 miles from the magnificent Eskdale and Duddon valleys and the Ravenglass to Eskdale steam railway, it is a haven of peace and tranquility and offers a wonderful holiday experience at any time of the year.

The Bothy is a self contained building standing on its own offering cosy upside down accommodation for two.

Stone steps lead up to the front door where you enter into the combined lounge/dining/kitchen area with its wooden floor, pot belly stove and views towards Scafell Pike. Steps lead down to the bedroom which has stone walls and exposed oak beams.

A door leads from the bedroom to the ensuite bathroom which has a traditional bath with feet, hand basin and WC.

All rooms are furnished with care and thought.

An enclosed garden area surrounds two sides of the Bothy.
