A charming rural property converted from part of an old watermill, set deep in the Welsh countryside. Located near to the small village of Afonwen in picturesque North Wales, Watermill Studio Cottage is a detached studio cottage in the grounds of the owner's home. This delightful pet friendly cottage is ideal for a couple and its all open-plan interior contains a double bed, a fitted kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area as well as a shower room. To the outside of the cottage is a private lawned garden with a patio, outdoor furniture, a barbecue and wonderful river views. There is also off-road parking for up to two cars. The rural setting will enchant nature lovers and ramblers, and the beautiful countryside is sure to provide plenty of walks during your cottage break. This could be the cottage you are seeking for that special romantic break.

Electric underfloor heating throughout. A Sharp dual microwave/oven/grill plus two ring electric hob, fridge/freezer, colour flat screen TV/DVD with Freeview. All electricity included in the rent. Bed linen and towels inc. rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue, overlooking River Wheeler and surrounding woods. Two dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub and craft centre 1.5 miles. Village shops and pubs 2 miles. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Afonwen is a village with a pub and craft centre in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the northern edge of the Clwydian Hill Range and the miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales Coast. Nearby are Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin with excellent shops and craft centres, and Prestatyn, whose Blue Flag beach provides bathing, watersports and fishing. This is an ideal location for exploring the attractions of North Wales, with access to walking, mountain biking and birdwatching amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Clwydian Hill Range and the Offa's Dyke Pathway.
