A Welsh cottage for two that’s great for a romantic retreat. Situated in a rural location, close to Ruthin in North Wales,The Shippon is a stone-built, single storey semi-detached barn conversion. The property sleeps two people in comfort and has a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite wet room, which is suitable for wheelchair users. The cottage also includes an open-plan living space including a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a cosy sitting area with a sofa bed (suitable for children only). A private rear patio is set within a lawn and supplied with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Guests also benefit from an additional shared garden with access to 7.5 acres of the owners’ fields. There is off road parking for 3 cars. One well behaved dog is welcome.
Historic Llangollen is near to the cottage and there’s no shortage of wonderful walks in the surrounding stunning countryside and at nearby Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and the Clocaenog Forest. The magnificent Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach. The Shippon is an ideal romantic retreat at any time of year.

Oil central heating throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Sky, DVD, CD/radio. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair available. There is private parking space for 3 cars. Rear patio and lawn with furniture and barbecue. Additional shared garden and access to 7.5 acres of owners’ fields. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 4 miles. Shop 2 miles. Please Note: This property accepts a maximum of 2 adults, the sofa bed is only suitable for children. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
