Many people visit the spectacular Peak District National Park in order to explore the countless walking trails and paths throughout the beautiful scenery. There are a few places close to the start of the trail, but the small village of Edale is the closest and is a lovely area to stay in. Edale is charming and friendly, home to cosy pubs, a nice café and a shop where you can stock up on provisions for your walk.
