Come to the Western Isles for a stay at this Scottish cottage. Located in the quiet village of Staffin on the Isle of Skye, The Barn is a single storey, stone built semi-detached cottage. The property can sleep up to 3 people and has one twin bedroom with an ensuite, and a sofa bed in the sitting room. The open plan living area includes a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining table. Guests may make use of the shared garden. There is off road parking for 2 cars. One well behaved pet is welcome at the cottage. The Barn is located in a stunning part of the magnificent Isle of Skye and is just a short stroll away from the coast. Walkers will also enjoy a trek along the Trotternish Ridge to the famous Quiraing.

Electric storage heaters throughout with supplemental heating from an electric fire and open fire in sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with icebox. TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel, power and peat for open fire included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Shared garden. One well behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 minutes' walk. Pub 3 miles. Beach 10 minutes' walk. Scotland's Isle of Skye is part of the Scottish Highlands but is essentially a butterfly shaped island which lies to the West of the Highlands, North of Fort William. The Island is connected to the mainland by a bridge at the Kyle of Lochalsh. The Isle of Skye is in an unspoilt remote part of Scotland where you can really get away from it all. A haven for artists, many have made Skye their home on account of the light and stunning scenery. The Isle of Skye offers beautiful pristine beaches, interesting geological cliffs, pretty fishing villages as well as the Cuillin Hills which attract keen mountaineers. In season you can also enjoy whale watching, seal watching and bird watching. Sea eagles have also been reintroduced to the area and are a special sight to behold.
