Located in the farming hamlet of Helperthorpe set in the Great Wold valley, featured in the BBC Time Machine Programme. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is central for the coastal towns of Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby to the east, twenty minutes north is Pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors. To the west is the historic city of York, and close by to the south is Driffield and Beverly.

The Old Dairy has been sympathetically converted from a 200 year old dairy and retains many of the original features. It has received a four star rating from the English Tourism Council and is well equipped . Barbecue and patio furniture in the garden.
The cottage has one double bedroom (with a Kingsize ) four poster bed ) and one twin bedroom. A cot and highchair are also available if required. The cottage is fully equipped, and all linen is provided. There is full oil-fired central heating, and the price is inclusive of heating and electricity. An additional cottage to sleep 2 is also available.
