No 8 is a detached, two storey whitewashed cottage, refurbished to a very high standard boasting original features and period furniture including the fairy tale half tester bed whilst the modern twin bedroom is ideal for the children.  The large family bathroom hosts a corner bath and separate walk in shower.  The well equipped kitchen includes a washer/dryer and a wall mounted Freeview TV.  After exploring coast and countryside, relax in the cosy living room with your complimentary glass of wine or better still, unwind in your own private garden.

No 8 offers private off-road parking.  The large lawn is enclosed with mature hedges and flower borders.  Garden furniture and BBQ are also provided.

No 8 is perfectly situated for visiting the coastal resorts of Bridlington (3 miles), Filey (12 miles) and Scarborough (18 miles) with their wide sandy beaches whilst the breathtaking North Yorkshire Moors and the beauty of the rolling Yorkshire Wolds are also an easy drive away. The RSPB reserve and the towering cliffs at Bempton are nearby and after a spot of bird watching you can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the antique shops and art galleries in Bridlington’s Old Town. For those wanting a more energetic hike then there’s our own stretch of unspoilt Heritage Coast or the rugged North Yorkshire Moors to choose from. We’re lucky to be spoilt for choice with stately homes too - Sewerby Hall with its own zoo, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House, all only a short drive away from No 8 and perfect for picnicking. A few miles further afield is the majestic Castle Howard, home of ‘Brideshead Revisted’ and Scamptston Hall, to name but a few. Further up the coast is Whitby with its magnificent abbey (40 miles) or venture inland to the historic city of York (40 miles) and visit the Minster or the famous Shambles. Closer to home is the pretty market town of Beverley where you can enjoy a flutter with a day at the races!
