Self-catering at Village Farm was established over 30 years ago and we now have a superb variety of 12 luxury cottages sleeping 2-12 with unrivalled facilities for an establishment of this size. All of the properties are equipped with every modern convenience and are ideal for families, couples or groups, summer or winter. All have full central heating but many also have wood-burning stoves for which we even provide free logs!

Our facilities include a heated indoor pool, with sauna, steamroom and sunshower. There is a wonderful, fully-staffed gym with relaxation area with complimentary coffee and tea and a resident beautician. A large games room with pool, table-tennis, bar-football and much more will take care of the wet days, and when the sun is shining we have a hard tennis court, adventure playground and a wendy house for the little ones as well as a large lawned area for football or running around!

Situated just 3 miles from Alnwick and a similar distance from the coast at Alnmouth we are in an ideal position for exploring all that this wonderful county of Northumberland has to offer. Alnwick is world renowned for its castle and now its garden – the “Versailles of the North” and the beaches of Northumberland are second to none. The hills provide magnificent walking and the roads of the county are still beautifully quiet. Fascinating stately homes and stunning gardens are numerous as are the lovely hamlets and villages that are waiting to be explored.
