Kings Beck Barn - Aylsham, Norfolk, England

The barn overlooks farmland and meadows and offers an idyllic location for bird watchers. There is an active owl nesting box that's visible from the kitchen and family room and birds flock to the Kings Beck stream that is only 50m away. The famous Weavers Way network of country walks can be accessed from the next village (Felmingham) and there are a variety of beautiful footpaths leading from the barn.

• Four spacious bedrooms, 2 of which are doubles with super-king size beds & en-suite shower rooms, the other 2 have 3 beds in each (2 of which can be made into another double on request)

• A utility room with washing machine & tumble dryer
• A secure garage with room for bikes, buggies etc
• An enclosed garden with 2 terrace/patio areas

For those with young children we can provide a cot, highchair, monitor, booster seat, stairgates, child friendly crockery, books, games, puzzles, toys & U rated DVDs.   The family tv room is off the kitchen & provides an ideal space for children to play whilst meals are prepared!

We can put you in contact with a personal chef to cater for you in the barn (minimum 8 guests) as well as a beautician who can offer beauty treatments at Kings Beck Barn.  These are additional costs & are subject to availability.

The Norfolk coastline offers some beautiful beaches running from Holkham to Waxham. Locally there are three Blue Flag awarded beaches in Cromer, Mundesley & Sea Palling. Boat trips can be taken from Morston or Blakeney to see the seals or visit Wells or Cromer to have a go at Crabbing. A number of Halls & Gardens are open to the public locally including 3 National Trust properties within 15 miles. There are lots of activities for those with young children ranging from Junior Farms, Indoor Play areas, Outdoor activity centres, Zoos, steam railways and lots more. For those that enjoy golf, there are 7 golf courses within 15 miles of the Barn including Royal Cromer, Sheringham & Wensum Valley.

Recommended Places to Visit: There are three National Trusts properties within 15 miles; Blickling Hall a magnificent Jacobean house with gardens and park is only four miles away, Felbrigg Hall garden and estates are nine miles and Sheringham Park with a woodland garden is only fifteen miles from Kings Beck Barn. BeWILDerwood the children’s adventure park at Hoveton is an award winning forest for family fun & outdoor adventure with treehouses, zip-wires and jungle bridges. The Dinosaur Park at Lenwade is a Children's play park with Dinosaur trails, animal gardens, a deer park and guided safari's. The Amazona Zoo in Cromer is the home to a wide range of animals from tropical South America.
