Lionstone House Holiday Apartments are situated on Ryde Esplanade and have magnificent sea views. Relax with a book and enjoy the views of the Solent, Ryde's sandy beach and harbour. Forget the rush of everyday life and wander along the Esplanade after a leisurely lunch. Play golf at the nearby golf club, bowl, swim or skate if you wish or just do whatever you desire. Lionstone House is a perfect place to spend a week's holiday from Saturday to Saturday throughout the summer months, also short break from October to March. All accommodation is centrally heated and enjoys the benefits of the lovely sea views. The apartments are all fully equipped for self-catering and ideally situated for all amenities, local shops and transport to all parts of the island. Amenities in the apartments vary, some have a freezer or shower but not all, so do please ask.

The town of Ryde, with its Victorian charm, is a fascinating place to visit with excellent sandy beaches, walks, entertainments, theatre, restaurants and shopping. On the seafront, adjacent to the harbour are a wealth of features including ice-skating rink, bowls, ten pin bowling, a boating lake, paddling pool and a heated swimming pool. Golfers have a choice of five golf-courses, one of which is in Ryde itself. Other places to visit are Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House, Havenstreet Steam Railway, among other attractions.
Being centrally heated, Lionstone House apartments offer a comfortable base from which one can explore our beautiful island or a haven to escape to from life's hustles and stress. We wait to welcome you.

Castles, historic houses, vineyards, museums, arts and crafts, Shipwreck Centre, Zoo, Blackgang Chine, Alum Bay and the Needles.
Travel: Within easy walking distance of the Portsmouth passenger ferry and hovercraft, bus and train station with links to all parts of the island.
Good places to visit: Osborne house former residence of Queen Victoria, Carisbrooke Castle where Charles I was imprisoned with his family, Ventnor Botanical Gardens with a tremondous variety of plants from all over the world icluding many exotic plants such strelitsias growing outside, 8ft plants from Afghanistaan, Needles Pleasure Park with chair lift down to the beach, the Needles, Robin Hill and Blackgang Chine pleasure parks, zoo where they have white tigers, Amazon Park, Butterfly World, flamingo park, Compton beach for surfing, big dinosaur fossils on some beaches.
Annual Events: Ryde Regatta week is in July, Ryde Carnivals are held the last week of August
Good places to eat: Numerous places to eat, two pubs with live music across the road.
