Sensible precautions should be taken with hot tub use. They are not suited to people with severe medical conditions and alcohol and hot tubs do not mix.

Relaxing in the warm massaging waters of a hot tub can be most soothing and is even a sociable activity if it is a large hot tub that can accommodate several people. It is easy to see why people would like to bubble away in an outdoor hot tub, sip wine and chat with friends. There are swim bars in swimming pools abroad and they always take the precaution of serving drinks in plastic cups so that there is no chance of broken glass.

However, we are considering a hot tub that cannot hold more than about 8 people at most and the climate of Hampshire is not that suitable for spending hours semi-naked outside. The maximum time spent in a hot tub in any one session is about half an hour. The massaging and pulsating jet action is timed for a periodand then it is a dashinto your holiday home unless the weather is very warm.

The majority of holidays makers are aware of the type of weather they can expect in Hampshire. It is best to take that umbrella just in case.

A hot tub is a lovely extra to have if you enjoy being pampered and as long as it is under cover, can be enjoyed despite the weather. Do spend a little time thinking about the kind of things that would add to your pleasure on holiday.
