Located a mile from the Cumbrian village of Ravenglass, Muncaster View is a welcoming terraced cottage on a working farm. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has 2 ground floor double bedrooms, both with an en-suite shower room. The upstairs open-plan living area includes a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a wood burner. Guests benefit from shared use of mature gardens. There is off road parking for up to 2 cars. Ideally positioned between the coast and the Lake District National Park, there’s a wide range of landscape for you to get out and explore. Active holidaymakers will quickly take up the prolific opportunities for walking, climbing and cycling. Local places of interest include Muncaster Castle, Wastwater and St Olaf’s Church all of which are within easy reach and worth a visit, Muncaster View makes a great holiday base for family, friends and walkers alike.

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent, additional wood available to purchase from owners. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for two cars. Shared mature gardens with furniture. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved pet welcome. Shop 10 minutes' walk, pub 1 mile. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. The village of Ravenglass is on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and is a coastal village, once a regular smuggling base. From Ravenglass it is easy to enjoy the National Park, the Ravenglass to Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Castle and the beauty of the surrounding lakes and mountains.
