A Cumbrian country cottage between the beautiful west coast and the National Park. Situated on the edge of the village of Beckermet, close to Whitehaven in the Lake District, Longcliffe is a semi-detached cottage with fantastic country views. The property is suitable for up to 9 people and has 3 bedrooms: one ground floor double, one family room with a double and children’s bunk beds and another family room with three single beds, as well as a ground floor family bathroom and a family shower room. The cottage also includes a fitted kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room and a delightful summer room. The large enclosed lawned garden includes a patio area, which is supplied with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There is off road parking for 3 cars. There’s glorious countryside right outside the door and more fine walking in the nearby fells. Longcliffe is close to many attractions, and is a great holiday base at any time of year.

Full gas fired central heating with additional heating from coal effect gas fire in the sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, slow cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, video, DVD, CD. Library of books, maps, videos and games. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cots, highchairs and stairgates available. There is private parking space for 3 cars. Shed for bike storage. Large enclosed lawned garden and patio with furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved pets welcome. Horses welcome by arrangement with owner. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 minutes' walk. Please Note: The front and back doors have grab rails fitted and the bathrooms have grab rails and shower seats. Please Note: Max 7 adults. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Beckermet is a small village, which offers cottages, farm dwellings, modern houses and a traditional pub, serving food, along with an annual pop festival. Just five miles away is the seaside resort of St Bees, plus the World Owl Centre, Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass to Eskdale are nearby. Also for walkers and climbers there are many peaks and valleys close by, which are bound to please.
