Tunbridge Wells is an attractive former spa town with a host of fine shops, pubs and restaurants. Guests may wish to travel from London by train. The journey time is 40 minutes from Charing Cross and the house is 15 minutes from Tunbridge Wells station. Within 20 minutes drive of the cottage are a great selection of heritage properties and stately homes to visit in the Kent Weald, including Penshurst Place, Hever Castle, Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst Castle. The coast at Eastbourne and Brighton are a 45 minute drive.
