Pendell House is something special: a Grade I listed country house designed by the architect Inigo Jones. A magnificent family house and used for grand entertaining in the past.

The house has a rare combination of luxury, grandness and yet succeeding in being built on a human scale. Some country houses are just too large to feel like a home, but Pendell House has in fact been a family home through most of it's existence.

You will love the combination of splendour and "hominess" Pendell House is arranged over four floors (10,000 sq ft floor space) and offers eight fabulous bedrooms), five bathrooms (many en-suite) and a variety of relaxing and comfortable lounges, reception rooms and terraces.

You can eat in the dining room, breakfast kitchen or, as weather allows, out on the breakfast terrace. Set in beautiful grounds, including a 1.7 acre walled garden, Elizabethan knot garden, further grounds extending to approximately 13 acres and including a swimming pool and tennis court.

Bletchingley's roots can be traced to Saxon times and parts of St Mary's Church date back to 1100.
