In 2006, after being neglected for many years, the renovation of the old farm workers cottage called the Bothy was completed. Complete with underfloor heating it has been renovated to provide high quality self-contained accommodation.

The self-catering accommodation

Upstairs the exposed beams and oak floors make the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the perfect place for a peaceful nights sleep.

The layout of the building is one up, one down. The ground floor consists of a sitting / kitchenette with  a new comfortable queen size fold up sofa bed. The first floor comprises of a double bedroom with ensuite. The accommodation is suitable for 1 or 2 adults sharing or a couple with 1 or 2 small children. The ensuite bathroom on the first floor is accessible via a seperate door without entering the main bedroom.

Free wireless broadband is available for your own computer.

The Bothy is located in the courtyard to the rear of the farm house and overlooks the garden. It is available on a weekly basis Saturday to Saturday for £250 (€265) per week January to December, £295 ( €325) per week during Christmas and the New Year. This is self catering based on two people sharing.  Look out for Special offers throughout the year. Discounts for late availability.

Secure off road parking is available in the courtyard to the rear of the farm house. Small pets are welcome to stay and are charged at £10 per pet per week.

There is a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, home baked bread, butter, milk, juice and fresh eggs from our own hens on your arrival.
