A Scandinavian-style wooden lodge located within a private marina on the River Lark, a mile from the rural village of Isleham nestled on the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire border. The charming river fronted garden with its decked are provides relaxing views, while the river itself offers excellent leisure opportunities including all year free fishing and jaunts out on the owner's rowing boat. The lodge accommodates four people comfortably, is decorated in a simple modern style and consists of a ground floor double room and one first floor twin room. The first floor room features a balcony looking out over an outdoor dining area. The open-plan living space includes a well furnished fitted kitchen including a breakfast bar and a welcoming seating area from which patio doors lead out to the veranda.The cottage has efficient gas central heating throughout this country cottage (under floor heating in the shower room). Air conditioning. Kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, 2 x colour TVs (one with digibox), DVD, CD player/radio. Library of books/games/DVDs. All fuel & power included in the rent. Bed linen & towels included in the rent. There is private parking space for 4 cars. Lawned garden with patio & veranda. Decked area with garden furniture. One small well behaved dog welcome by arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Please Note: Unfenced river at bottom of garden. Children must be supervised. Please Note: Narrow spiral staircase in property may be unsuitable for the less mobile. Please Note: Pets not to be left in property unattended. Please Note: This property requires a £100 refundable Good Housekeeping Bond for guests bringing a dog.
