Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, only 10 minutes drive in the car, and the beautiful National Trust Ashridge Forest and Ivinghoe Beacon with fantastic views and many different walks for all abilities. Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey - 15 minutes away. The centuries old village of Aldbury, just below Ashridge, with it’s famous stocks is well worth a visit.

Woodmill Farm is a 17th Century Former Mill set within 7 acres of meadow, on the edge of the picturesque Prideaux Woods near to the South Cornish Coast, and is an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall. The former Cornish Mill has been converted into 4 stunning self-contained one bedroomed cottages, perfect for couples or 2 adults. BBQ on the terrace. We also offer a cottage all on one level. The Cottage stands within the grounds of the historic Bush Inn, a 13th century coastal pub, which prides itself on its delicious selection of hearty flavoursome meals, freshly prepared to order made from using only the finest Cornish produce. Not only do you have excellent self-catering accommodation but also the option of an endless supply of good food and company when you return from walking the coastal path or a day out on the beach.
Fell House is situated within the lovely ancient town of Sedbergh, mid-way between Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales and Windermere in the Lakes. There is the house (sleeping 8108) and inter-connecting flat (2-6) that sleep 16 if booked together, or each can be booked separately.
Orchards Apartment (sleeps 4) has a spacious feel with large rooms. Plenty of storage space with enough room for outdoor gear, boots etc. Everything but the twin bedroom is at ground level. Fully carpeted and tastefully decorated. Outside are places to sit and enjoy the tranqil surroundings with pleasing views down the valley to Muncaster Fell. Parking is provided for two cars. Accommodation: lounge (bay window, living flame gas fire set in an original marble fireplace, TV, stereo and video), double bedroom with a wrought iron bed and a triple wardrobe, kitchen (lots of fitted units, dining table, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, auto washer and dryer) and stairs leading up to the twin bedroom. Through the kitchen is another hallway that leads to the bathroom (bath with electric shower over, basin and wc). Although the Apartment sleeps 4, a coach house is also available in the grounds to sleep an additional two people. Availability for August Bank holiday.
Routen House is a large house that sleeps up to 12 + cot, with a farmhouse kitchen, 2 sitting rooms, and is set by Ennerdale Water, one of the most spectacular and secluded lakes in the Lake District, Cumbria.
