Set in a rural location just outside Ratlinghope village, near the Stiperstones and Long Mynd, 7 miles from Church Stretton, Creagh Dhu is a lovely welcoming semi-detached cottage. The property is suitable for up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms: a king-size double bedroom and another bedroom, which can be offered either as a twin or as a super king-size double. There is a welcoming open-plan living space including a kitchen, pantry, dining area and sitting area, and a Clearview wood burning stove. The enclosed front gravelled garden is provided with decking, garden furniture, a BBQ and has spectacular views over the rolling hills. There is off road parking for 2 cars (one under a carport). The cottage is in a fantastic rural position between the Stiperstones and the Long Mynd Hills and provides excellent walks. A short drive will take you on to Church Stretton, Bishops Castle, the medieval town of Ludlow with its fine dining or historic Shrewsbury. Creagh Dhu makes a wonderful all year holiday base for families, walkers, or couples.

Cooking range with gas double oven, 5 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer inc. ice and chilled water dispenser, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with FreeSat, DVD, Home Cinema System with 6'x4' drop-down projector screen and surround sound. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars (one under carport). Enclosed front gravelled garden with decking, garden furniture, barbecue and spectacular hill views. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles. Pub 1.4 miles. If you are looking to take a self catering holiday somewhere peaceful and unspoilt then Shropshire may be for you. Shropshire has acres and acres of unspoilt countryside. Church Stretton is a pretty market town in the heart of rural south Shropshire. Described as “Little Switzerland", the town is surrounded by stunning scenery and is the major part of Shropshire's hill country. The town offers a good selection of pubs, tearooms, and specialist shops, as well as other attractions including fantastic walking opportunities on the Long Mynd; the fascinating Acton Scott Working Farm, and the ancient Stokesay Castle. Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle are all historic local towns with much to offer to visitors, and they are all an easy drive away from Church Stretton, as are the beautiful Welsh Borders.
