A country cottage nestled amongst amazing scenery. Located on the edge of Preston-on-Wye, is a quality character cottage in a countryside location, Point Cottage is a detached property. The cottage is suitable for up to 6 people and has 2 comfortable and welcoming bedrooms: a king-size double and a twin, as well as a family bathroom on the ground floor. The living accommodation features exposed beams and wall timbers throughout and is further comprised of a sitting room with a sofa bed, a dining room and a fitted kitchen. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. There is a gravelled front area and an enclosed lawned garden. Off road parking is available for 3 cars. You are spilt with choice for places to go with the book town of Hay-on-Wye, the historic town of Hereford and the landscapes of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons all within easy reach. Point Cottage is a great base for families, friends or couples.

This self catering cottage has full oil central heating with additional heating from a woodburner in the sitting room. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, combi TV/DVD with Freeview. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 3 cars. Lockable bike storage. Spacious, enclosed lawned garden with furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 5 minutes' walk. Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Preston-on-Wye is a small village in the Herefordshire countryside, near the River Wye, surrounded by the lovely scenery of the Golden Valley. There is a quiet village pub, and a shop can be found 4 miles away. From here it is easy to explore the cathedral at Hereford, the bookshops at Hay-on-Wye and miles of beautiful country lanes.
