Our pretty Gate Lodge is a tranquil hideaway for one or two people. Situated near Athboy in County Meath, the cottage is at the entrance to a small Georgian farmhouse and overlooks mature parkland and unspoilt countryside.
There is a daffodil edged walk to the cottage in spring.
The cottage has three comfortable well furnished rooms with open fireplace and French doors to the terrace. Shower room. It has its own secret graden with a stream and in summer roses and honeysuckles scent the air.
The lodge is a member of Alastair Sawday's Special Places to stay in Ireland and has a 4 star tourist board rating.
It is one hour 15 minutes from Dublin Airport. The great archaeological sites of Loughcrew and Newgrange are within easy reach,and lake and nature walks are on our doorstep.

is a charming pet-friendly 3 bedroom country cottage in south
west Ireland, ideally suited for up to 4 people. It is attached
to the owner's own cottage near the small village of Lauragh,
and set in a peaceful location on the road to Glanmore Lake
on the Beara Peninsula.

The cottage
is supplied with all necessary household items including a
microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer for an easy life
on holiday. There are 3 small bedrooms, 2 doubles and a single.
A cot available on request. Bed linen is supplied. Bathroom
with shower.
The cottage
is kept warm by oil-fired central heating and has an open
fire for effect. Electricity by coin meter.
A stay
in St. Anthony's self-catering cottage would be quiet and
peaceful. There is a shingle beach and small harbour nearby,
Allihies sandy beach 20 miles away. The village of Lauragh
is half a mile away, where you will find shops, a post office,
a church and pub. There is often traditional music to enjoy
in the local pubs and friendly locals to chat to. The cottage
owners would be happy to provide further information about
outings, travel, and restaurants.

House is a nineteenth century period house of immense character
in Clifden, County Galway, southern Ireland. It is uniquely
situated in its own mature gardens yet only 100 meters from
Clifden town centre.

The Drawing
room is the main room in the House, adorned with paintings
and antique furnishings. The gracious room is made intimate
by its large roaring turf fire around which friendships are
made and stories are told as visitors relax and drink tea
or read a book in the evenings.
One of
our better known visitors was Chelsea Clinton who stayed with
us during her Irish Tour. The bedrooms are all individually
decorated with a combination of antiques and modern day conveniences
such as tv, direct dial telephones, central heating, large
Kingsized orthpaedic beds where possible and ensuite bathrooms.
The Gardens with their blend of rockeries, lily ponds and
mature plants offer a calming respite after a long days sightseeing.
Our outdoor
heated swimming pool is open from June 1st to September 20th.
There is also a sauna, and tennis court if you feel energetic.
