Situated in the hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn in Flintshire, North Wales, The Granary is a good quality barn conversion, one of a group of three on a working farm. It's a lovely Welsh cottage for a short break or a longer stay. The cottage has two good sized bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The property also includes a well-equipped kitchen including a dining area, and a cosy sitting room with patio doors leading outside. There is a private lawned garden to the rear and a shared front courtyard area. Dedicated off-road parking is available for 2 cars. The excellent location of The Granary provides easy access to the North Wales coast, the Snowdonia National Park and across the border to the historic city of Chester. It's is a superb base for a family or romantic break at any time of the year.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, (tumble dryer available on request), 37" colour TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books and games for small children. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Shared front garden, private enclosed rear lawn. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Farm produce available in season. Shop 2 miles, pub with restaurant 5 minutes' walk. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe. You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.

The hamlet of Pen-y-Cefn sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the Clwydian Hills and lovely North Wales coastline. This hamlet in Flintshire is near to the small town of Caerwys, which has amenities including two pubs, a newsagent, butchers and tennis courts. Resorts local to Pen-y-Cefn include the seaside towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn, with their family attractions and sandy beaches. The market town of Mold is a few miles away, as is the historic city of Chester, with its famous zoo, walls and excellent shopping. The area has plentiful walking, cycling and birdwatching, and is within easy reach of the rest of the North Wales coastline, Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park.
