All of the walls are adorned with wonderful locally produced art which invokes the feel and features of the Herefordshire and Welsh borders countryside.

Recommended Places to Visit: 11th century Ludlow Castle, Small Breeds farm at Kington - children will love this farm wildlife park full of everything from llamas, owls, goats, to guinea pigs, ducks, mice and rats!. Hereford cathedral with Mappi Mundi - one of the oldest maps in the country and the historic chained library. The lovely border market town of Hay-on-Wye at the foot of the Black Mountains, with a plethora of book and antique shops, and a famour literary festival in May. Black and White Village Tour - A fascinating tour of all our local black and white timbered and unspoilt villages, including Lyonshall, Pembridge, Eardisland, Weobley etc. Eardisland - Award-winning "Prettiest Village"; Weobley - an extraordinary variety of medieval buildings; Pembridge - don't miss the Market Square and detached Church bell tower; Eardisley - with its giant oak tree; Dilwyn - with its village green surrounded by cottages. There is also a small hotel and a fitness club with a swimming pool. With plenty of facilities for visitors, Kington could be a great choice for a cottage break.
There are excellent opportunities for walks and hiking near Kington and also in the Brecon Beacons National Park which is just an easy drive away. Kington is surrounded by rolling hills and green fields and we trust that you will find numerous good walks and places of interest to visit in and near the local area.
