The 5 star luxury apartment, which is self-contained and on two floors, forms part of Pump House, a large house in the country village of Great Burstead in the county of Essex. The village is close to Billericay - a small country town with strong US connections. London, Canterbury, Cambridge, Colchester and "Constable Country" can all be reached within an hour by road. There is a fast rail link to London (30 - 40 minutes). A regular bus service is available close by. Whilst a car is not essential, it would enhance your enjoyment. The accommodation in the apartment (up to 1,500 sq. ft.) has two living rooms, a dining room, a fully-fitted kitchen and the choice of one, two or three bedrooms with one to three bath/shower rooms (two en-suite).

The Granary is a Spacious 3 Bedroom luxury cottage in Constable Country, on the Essex-Suffolk border, just a few minutes from the beautiful village of Dedham and the old waterfront town of Manningtree on the Stour estuary. Spend a while in the Finnish Sauna followed by the Spa pool on your private patio overlooking open pastures. Sit by the log burning stove and watch any of the Satellite channels with theatre sound dvd/video. The bedrooms also have TV/videos. 2 double bedrooms plus 1 twin room and 3 - bath/showerooms (1 en-suite). A double sofa bed is downstairs. The Gun Emplacement is the nearest house to France. It's perched on the cliff top on Lighthouse Down, the National Trust's protected coastal expanse, overlooking St. Margaret's Bay, which has come to be known as The White Cliffs. The house was built by the Army in 1910, Sir Peter Ustinov was billeted there during the Second War and he bought it from the Ministry of Defence in 1946. It is not suitable for children under 12 but fine for older people,(two steps)

There is even an airing cupboard to keep linen warm. The cottage can sleep 1-6 people. 7 night lets only from Saturday to Saturday only.
