In the heart of 'Counstable Country' this Grade 2 listed cottage sits close to the water front at the center of Manningtree, Englands smallest market town. Oyster Cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) - suitable for up to 4 people. Patio garden. Charming, stylish and comfortable with all mod cons! Sorry no pets. Orford, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, and Southwold on the Suffolk coast, the university city of Cambridge are only 1 hour away. And only 15 minutes from historic Colchester with its castle museum, and Ipswich.

Spring Hall Cottage is a charming 200 year old Grade II listed thatched cottage in the North Essex/South Suffolk borders. Recently refurbished to a very high standard with a new kitchen and bathroom complementing the wealth of exposed beams. There are two separate airconditioned double bedrooms one of which can be made into two single beds if required, the lounge is 23 feet long which features the original inglenook fireplace, the dining room area seats 8 comfortably so you can entertain your family and friends in style. The cottage has an enclosed garden of approximately one third of an acre laid down to lawns and flowerbeds with views overlooking farm land. Well-behaved pets also welcome.
The Tallow factory is a beautiful 16th century timber-framed cottage in the heart of Dedham village with a wealth of exposed beams and period features. It was featured in a BBC programme on holiday cottages in England. We still have 'Availability for New Year'
The historic village of Dedham lies on the Essex-Suffolk border surrounded by miles of unspoilt countryside.
Downstairs there is a spacious dining/ living room with a stereo system and working fireplace. Adjoining is a beautiful wooden kitchen fully equipped with all modern appliances including microwave and dishwasher. This leads to another comfortable lounge area with TV & video, opening on to a garden. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms (3 double, 2 twin) to sleep up to 10, and two bathrooms fitted with bath and shower. Laundry facilities are also available. Gourmet breaks can be arranged.
Gladwins Farm is a lovely family-run collection of 9 cottages set in 22 acres of Constable Country. Cottages to sleep from 2 to 8. Six are conversions of Tudor Barns and stables, one is a ground floor apartment and two luxury cottages sleeping 6 or 8, all in en-suite bedrooms. The village is just over half a mile away and has one of the best collections of medieval buildings in the Country and also the famous White Hart restaurant. We provide bikes for guests to explore the cycle routes which run past the cottage and welcome pets.

Holmwood Cottage is a lovely 16th Century thatched cottage. It has a double bedroom with a second twin/double bedroom leading off from it.
There are 3 sofas in the sitting room one of which is a double sofa bed. The bedrooms have cosy beds and wonderful original broad Elmwood floors. The fully equipped kitchen has an ancient Suffolk brick floor and seats 6 at the table. There is a very pretty beamed sitting room with lots of room to relax in and enjoy the charms of an unspoilt 16th Century beamed and thatched cottage. Beautiful Persian carpets and rugs show off the charm of the original features in this lovingly restored cottage in the heart of pretty South Suffolk yet only an hour and a half from London. Partridge End cottage is a pretty part thatched part tiled grade II listed building set in approximately a quarter acre of its own grounds and surrounded by open fields to the front and orchards to the rear. The orchards have country walks going through them around a lake and you can walk through them to the main village of Assington, which has an excellent farm shop, which sells fresh vegetables, dairy produce, frozen food, etc.; it’s also the Post Office. There is also a pub which serve good 'pub grub'.
