Banffshire Craig Cottage

Our cottage was completely refurbished in 2007 to a very high standard,a serious amount of care and attention to detail has been taken with all high quality furnishings and fittings.The cottage borders the Duff House coservation area and woodland, the magnificent Duff House is a beautiful 2 mile walk along the riverside and through the woodlands. The immediate area abounds with wildlife such as deer, foxes, badgers, otters, pine martins, buzzards and our resident red squirrels, rabbits, pheasants and woodpeckers.The unusual appearance of the cottage is due to part of it being built as a folly to Duff HouseCraig Cottage has a private parking area and garden overlooking the woods and countryside. The front of the cottage is a south facing sheltered suntrap with spacious patio area, garden furniture and barbecue.The cottage grounds, while beautiful all year round, come alive in May and June as does the whole woodland when the rhododendron borders are in full bloom, very romantic.Outside there is a large rod room and toilet to keep all your angling equipment, golf clubs and bikes the rod room is heated and has a sink and tumble dryer. Craig Cottage is our unique 3 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury cottage.  The cottage is nestled in a secluded location above the Bridge of Alvah and the gorge yet only 2 miles from historic Banff on the majestic Moray Firth coast. The cottage is perfect for the Castle, Whisky and Coastal Trails and really is paradise for walking, Golfers and fly fishermen, we have our own prolific Salmom and Sea Trout beat 200 yds from the cottage on the River Deveron one of Scotlands top 5. The cottage has all luxuries including plasma TV and Sky satelite (sports package) and even a laptop with Wi Fi Internet, all bedrooms having Sony Bravia lcd tvs and dvd players. Highland Glenuaig Lodge on Glencarron

In a fabulous remote six mile glen with a river running through it and surrounded by expansive views and Munros (mountains over 3000ft) all you might hear is the babble of the burns and the roar of the stags with the silent golden eagles soaring above. Paradise for walking, wildlife watching, fishing and deer stalking or exploring the Scottish Highlands or just relaxing away from it all.
