Limerick Teervena Lodge

Teervena Lodge is a very spacious, elegant, country house, with antique and period furnishings and paintings.A south facing conservatory has panoramic views of lush country pasture and it is situated on a working dairy farm. A very central base for touring-south-west and well behaved pets are welcome.

Teervena is a very spacious elegantly restored 1800s lodge with polished floors, period furniture and paintings set on 150 acres of pasture on a working dairy farm. It has its own private avenue and flower garden. There are fine panoramic views from the south-facing conservatory. Screened from the road by mature trees, this tranquil refuge is a good central base for touring the south-west of Ireland. Killarney, Shannon and Blarney are just one hour away. The lodge has 4 bedrooms, two of which are en-suite and 1 bathroom with bath, electric shower and toilet etc. There are two sets of golf clubs available free for guests use on nearby golf courses.

We offer that "extra" in quality accommodation and we are also Irish Tourist Board approved to the highest grade so that a supremely comfortable holiday in Ireland is assured.

Sligo River Cottage

County Sligo is located on the North West coast of Ireland and is perhaps most famous for it links to the poet W.B. Yeats. Yeats lived in Sligo for much of his life and some of his poetry was inspired by the landscape of the county. He was also laid to rest in Drumcliffe just outside Sligo town. Sligo boasts a green and lush landscape, dominated by sheer limestone ridges such as towering Ben Bulben. It boasts spectacular sandy beaches at Rosses Point, Strandhill, Dunmoran, Easkey, Enniscrone and Mullaghmore, many are EU blue flag beaches. It also contains one of the richest concentrations of prehistoric monuments in Western Europe including Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery and Miosgan Meadhbha (Maeve's Cairn). Marine archeologists have also recently uncovered a wreck of the Spanish Armada which was storm-driven upon this coast in September of 1588. There is much to do in this region and list of local activities is provided in the site. Sligo is also famous for its selection of lynx course with Rosses Point offering a championship course.
