Nestled in a valley by woodlands close to the River Wye in an area rich in wildlife, you can wake up to birdsong with a stay at this enchanting holiday home.

This Wye Valley hideaway for two is in the hamlet of Penallt near Monmouth, surrounded by numerous walks in the wooded hills and countryside. Go for rambles from this rare and unusual holiday cottage for 2, discover the Wye Valley, enjoy its tea shops and country pubs. During late summer and autumn, you may wish to try cider pressing fruit from our orchard.

Tastefully furnished, this rural cottage in Penallt comprises of a comfortable lounge, an oak-beamed kitchen with dining table, a sumptuous bathroom featuring both a roll-top bath and shower and a very romantic bedroom.  The holiday accommodation is comfortable and gentle on the eye, with lots of period features and enchanting curiosities.

There is a table for two in the garden and a barbeque where guests might enjoy grilling steaks to eat with their cider. We invite you to make the most of glorious summer days with us in the Wye Valley, Monmouthshire.

Our Dogs Welcome Policy: One small dog is welcome by arrangement.  Please note though that the dog must be kept in the roomy airy kitchen.
