This is the place to relax and get away from the hustle & bustle. This amazing log cabin is really a wooden house, don't confuse it with the sectional holiday lodges, this place has been built to last.

Wnion Wood log cabin is located on the edge of woodland within the Wnion Valley, down a private road past two cattle grids. There is a stone chimney for cosy nights in, by the woodburning fire. The comfy furnishings & spacious interior add to the homely atmosphere for that perfect romantic break, chill out or rural retreat. The Kitchen / breakfast room overlooks the woodland and is well equipped with everything you could need, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer, microwave etc.
The huge sofas are perfect for relaxing by the fire and enjoying the peaceful woodland surroundings, entertain yourselves with the Sony HD television , browse the web with free WIFI or enjoy your music on the great sound system, blu ray and ipod dock.
The bedrooms are warm and fully carpeted for comfort, have great beds, master king bedroom and the large twin can be made up as a superking. All bedrooms have radio alarms, hairdryers and ample storage.
Ample safe parking is available.

Short Break Bookings: As per the above, we welcome 3 night short break bookings. Outside of school holidays or if there is late availability, we do accept 2 night bookings. However, 3 night breaks often represent the best value for money. Check in times for 2-night stays are from 4pm Friday to 4PM Sunday or 10AM Saturday to 10 AM Monday and are priced from £350 to £464.
We will consider booking requests outside of the above format, but we reserve the right to make an additional charge to cover our additional servicing costs.
Included in the price are linen, robes to use during your stay, indoor bath towels, use of sauna, electricity & heating, Wi-Fi internet access, and up to one basket per day of logs for the wood burner. Prices shown may vary or alter at the time of request.

This Lodge is Dog-Friendly
However, please note that to stay with us, dogs must be over 1 years old, fully house trained and must not be allowed in the bedrooms. Dog charges apply and vary from £20 to £40 per dog. Sorry, we do not accept big dogs or dogs that moult alot.
Bryniau is an exclusive collection of log cabin homes, not holiday lodges. Some are private homes, some are private holiday homes and approx six are commercial holiday lets so its very safe and quiet here. Its approached over two cattle grids down a private road.
Wnion Wood is one of our three log cabins which we personally manage so you can assured of a warm welcome and we are always "on hand". Plenty of safe parking . You are welcome to bring your bikes to enjoy the fantastic cycle paths in the area.
Just three miles from the old Welsh market town of Dolgellau , it’s the perfect base to explore this magical part of Southern Snowdonia famous for its steam railways and castles. With the Torrent & Precipice Walks almost on the doorstep, golf course at Dolgellau, and the Mawddach Cycle Trail to Barmouth, with its miles of sandy beaches and quaint harbour.

Dolgellau is an ancient market town with links going back to gold mining in the surrounding hills. It still has a Farmers Market every month where you can buy wonderful local produce and a genuine stock market weekly. if the weather stops your outdoor pursuits you can spend time browsing around the quaint local shops and enjoy a meal in one of the many good eateries in the town. Dolgellau has a good 9 hole golf course The Cycle Path down the estuarry to Barmouth, where you cycle over the famous Barmouth Bridge. Dolgellau sits on the south bank of the Wnion River at the foot of Cader Idris, (Cadair Idris) in the south of the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd
