Let us welcome you to Milk Lodge, a luxurious log cabin for 2-4 people, surrounded by woodland and pretty countryside, 13 miles away from the sandy beaches of Barmouth Bay on the Welsh coast.
Step inside Milk Lodge, into its honey coloured pine clad hallway from which lead the sitting room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a sauna room and a bathroom. This log cabin has been specially designed as holiday accommodation for comfort and pleasure, it is easy on the eye and offers enjoyable leisure facilities such as a sauna room. Families on holiday together could have a fabulous holiday at Milk Lodge.
The nicely proportioned sitting room has comfy sofas which centre around the log burner and TV. Sit comfortably and enjoy a film or chat after a day out exploring Snowdonia or sunbathing on Barmouth beach.
A table with four chairs in the dining area creates an intimate corner for dining and breakfast.
Rustle up your favourite type of breakfast and dinners in the spacious oak kitchen. There is everything that you need to allow for easy catering, food storage and disposal. An American style fridge/freezer has lots of space for wine, beer and fresh food. Self-catering can be great fun with four cooks in the kitchen assisted by a few glasses of wine before dinner. It is easy to purchase frozen ready meals or to try out your cooking flair on the cooker and show off, you may wish to try some local Welsh specialities. Alternatively, we can recommend restaurants that serve up excellent food guaranteed to please.
Holidays are all about pleasure and although guests have to make their own entertainment, Snowdonia makes it very easy. The countryside is stunning with a backdrop of snow-capped mountains, there are reservoirs to cycle around, woodland walks and plenty of tourist attractions. This part of Wales is rich in flora and fauna. Bring a camera to capture those special moments with friends and family.
Wandering around Snowdonia may bring plenty of joy and great beauty but at the end of the day when weariness begins to set in, it is good to return to your log cabin and unwind in the sauna before making your way to bed and a sound night’s sleep. One of the bedrooms is a double, the other a twin.
The log cabin is in a peaceful rural location where a group of high quality log cabins stands in a circle shielded from the outside world by woodland. A garden behind the log cabin is there if you wish to rest or sunbathe on a nice day. There is a BBQ if the notion takes you to grill your favourite foods.
Our Dogs Welcome Policy
A dog is welcome by arrangement. Snowdonia is fantastic for holidays with dogs and some of the less popular beaches are also pet-friendly. We welcome dogs that are 1 year or older and are fully house trained but are unable to accept big dogs or dogs from breeds that moult heavily. We have a dogs charge of between £20 to £40 per dog.
