Find a self catering cottage near the hamlet of Morton in Derbyshire, between Matlock and Mansfield. This is a good location for anyone wanting to visit friends or family in this area and also planning day trips to the Peak District.

Morton is a small village with a main road and a few roads and country lanes that branch off of it. It is a village of predominantly red brick houses and bungalows. There is a post office at the current time. The Sitwell Arms Pub has a garden with play equipment for children. The village is separated from the village of Stonebrook by Morton Brook. Anyone staying in holiday accommodation in the area would find a few more shops in Stonebrook.
