Featuring good quality self-catering holiday accommodation to rent near the small town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, on the western side of High Peak in Derbyshire. A selection of holiday cottages in and around the town of Chapel en le Frith is shown.
Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, these cottages are good for a relaxing break with easy access to the fells and woodlands of the Peak District. Chapel en le Frith is a fairly large town with a golf club and reservoir on the outskirts. The location is very good for people who like to be in the midst of busy tourist areas with plenty of activities.
Housing within the town does not adhere to the Peak District style, it is very much mixed with red brick houses, rows of grey coloured terraced ‘two up two down’ houses in Thornbrook Road and smart relatively modern estates. A few roads near the centre of town hearken back a century or two ago; Terrace Road and Church Brow are narrow cobbled streets that leads up to the Market Place and the main shopping area. You should be able to find somewhere to rent for a short break, or by the week and enjoy a holiday in the Peak District. It is always useful to rent accommodation near shops which makes self-catering very easy.
The Sheffield Road eastwards from Chapel en le Frith leads to the Blue John and Speedwell Caverns near Castleton and on to the hills, Edale Valley and fantastic views of High Peak Country.
