Silverburn self-catering Cottage is ideally situated for a range of countryside activities, such as fishing and stalking, golf, cycling and walking. Silverburn is set in the Perthshire Highlands, with Loch Tay just three miles away and in an area which is fantastic for spotting a wide variety of wildlife. From the house you can easily spot red squirrels, red deer, pine martins and a myriad of birds.

This award winning architect-designed cottage was built in 2011. Sleeping up to five people in two bedrooms, this self-catering holiday home is spacious and modern and serves as a rural retreat as it is extremely private and quiet. The modern bathroom is spacious, with a bath and separate walk-in shower. The views across the hills are spectacular.

This tasteful cottage is decorated with a number of pieces of original artwork, and includes:

  • Flat-screen television with Freesat and a DVD player
  • Wi-Fi broadband and a landline telephone for UK calls

  • The property is in an elevated position and enjoys spectacular views over the Tay Valley from the sitting room and one of the bedrooms. Our local "Munro", Schiehallion, can be seen from the garden.

The closest village is Kenmore, which is three miles away from Silverburn Cottage.  The village has limited amenities, but is rich in heritage - being home to the Scottish Crannog Centre - and is great for activities such as canoeing and water-skiing.

Just five miles away, the town of Aberfeldy has a number of art galleries and amenities, with restaurants, cafes and shops including supermarkets.

The arts-and-crafts village of Fortingall and Glen Lyon, one of Scotland’s most beautiful glens, are nearby.

We accept payment by cheque, electronic bank transfer (preferred) or credit card via PayPal. Our normal terms of business are 20% non-returnable deposit with booking and the balance one month before arrival. Changeover day is Friday. �30 pw supplement for dogs.
