This beautifully presented family-friendly 3 bedroomed holiday cottage sleeps 4
adults plus one small child and a baby and is pet-friendly so all of the family can enjoy a break away. The lounge with its comfy seating, warming open fire and TV is very much the heart of the house and is complemented by a spacious well equipped kitchen/diner, utility room and a sunroom.
There is one downstairs bedroom (can be made up as either a double or a twin) and a family bathroom.
Upstairs is a bedroom for two (can be made up as either a double or a twin), a child's bedroom with a small bed and travel cot and a shower room. Bedrooms are all dressed with 100% cotton linen for your comfort.
Many of the rooms feature pretty garden views. Outside the garden is a great place to sit out and enjoy the views over the fields and trees to Largs and the Firth of Clyde beyond.

For those who enjoy walking, this is a great area to explore on holiday. Head out to the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and explore the hills next to Largs where the views out to the Isle of Cumbrae, Bute and Arran are simply stunning. Keen golfers are well catered for too with Largs Golf Club, Routenburn Golf Course and other local courses to discover. For shopping, eating out and days out by the beach, the picturesque town of Largs is just 2 miles away.
You can even try a spot of island hopping when staying in this part of Scotland. Ferries run to the nearby Isle of Cumbrae (where you can hire bikes and explore the island) and also to the Isle of Bute and make for a memorable day out. Arran can also be visited for the day by ferry from Ardrossan. Some guests visit Arran to climb Goat Fell whereas others visit the distillery at the north of the island, it's up to you!

PS Waverley takes trips 'doon the watter' during the summer months and is very popular. She is the last ocean going Paddle Steamer in the world and not to be missed.
The smallest Cathedral in Britain, if not Europe, is in Millport on the Island of Cumbrae and hosts wonderful concerts on Sunday afternoons in the summer.

Recommended Places to Visit: Glasgow for some culture and shopping is a great day out. Argyll for the views and delicious seafood at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Inverary Castle, any number of gardens and walks along the way including Benmore Gardens near Dunoon. The islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae are all great day trips too.
Annual Events: Largs Viking Festival is an annual event which runs for a week in late August/ beginning of September. This brings in many different groups of people to entertain, sell and educate to all the visitors who flock to the town.
Recommended Places to Eat Out: Largs boasts several excellent places to eat including Scotts at the Marina, Lounge in the Main Street, Tapas in Boyd Street, the world famous Nardini's who sell ice cream as well as their legendary fish and chips. Several other eateries and carry outs of Indian food or Fish and Chips offering the chance to escape the kitchen on holiday! Coffee shops abound and offer the most delicious temptations to accompany the cuppa. Further afield is Braidwood Restaurant which gets extremely booked up and would need to be secured well in advance - sometimes up to a year!
Local Sports: Largs is a great sailing venue and hosts many events at the marina and sailing club. Sportscotland has a sailing and windsurfing school on Cumbrae and many youngsters learn the ropes over the summer months in the most wonderful setting. Kelburn Country
