4 Bedroom Pet-Friendly Mull of Kintyre Cottage with Sea Loch Views

With an elevated location above the waters of Kilbrannan Sound and the village of Skipness, Coalfin Cottage with its wonderful sea loch views and outlook towards the Isle of Arran is something special.  The sunrises and sunsets that can be experienced here make for truly wonderful memories.

This is a fantastic base for discovering some of the best of the Kintyre Peninsula (an area which so inspired Paul McCartney who owned a home in the area that he wrote a song about it; the Mull of Kintyre).  This is indeed a beautiful part of Scotland where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, fishing and birdwatching in superb scenery.  There are also fascinating castles to visit, as well as other interesting architectural monuments.

For those who want to do a spot of island hopping, ferries run to the Islands of Arran, Islay and Gigha close by.  If you want to relax by the beach on holiday, the nearest is just half a mile away.

The Accommodation at Coalfin Cottage

Whether you're planning a holiday with family or friends, Coalfin Cottage with its impressive setting could be the ideal place to stay.  With 4 bedrooms (on the ground floor is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, and upstairs is one double bedroom and one bedroom with three single beds), this welcoming cottage sleeps up to 11 people in comfortable homely accommodation.  Pet-friendly, your dog can come too!

The kitchen is very much at the heart of the house and is large and sociable with its dining area.  This room is kept super cosy with its underfloor heating.  The lounge is also very spacious and with its warming open fire is a great place to relax with friends or family.  Both the kitchen and the lounge benefit from fantastic views over Skipness Bay and the Isle of Arran.  There is a downstairs loo and upstairs is a shower room.

The cottage has its own garden where you can sit out and really appreciate this stunning setting.
