A famous local landmark overlooks Todmorden in the shape of Stoodley Pike Monument. Constructed to celebrate the end of the Napoleonic Wars (the current monument replaced the original one), its height is 100 feet. It’s a popular local walk up to the monument and recommended for the views across the moors.

The 9-hole course affords terrific views of the town and the Pennines and golfers find it an enjoyable challenge. Non-players will also appreciate the high standard of the eating and drinking facilities.
