Sleeping up to 3 people, this charming cottage has a lounge with an open fire, a kitchen with dining area, one double bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom and a single bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture for dining alfresco in summertime.The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a wonderland for outdoor sports and activities. The area is filled to the brim with natural treasures such as the famous Hardraw 1000 foot single drop waterfall in the next hamlet. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring Aysgarth Nature Reserve at Leyburn, a site of Special Scientific Interest and its spectacular waterfall. Another great day out can be had walking the Snaizeholme Red Squirrel Trail in Hawes, catching sight of the protected red squirrels. It's also worth a trip to Ripon to see the National Trust's 12th century Fountains Abbey ruins, Georgian Studley Royal Water Gardens and medieval deer park set in 800 acres. Gardeners in particular, will love the National Trust's Sizergh near Kendal for its wonderful garden and woodlands.

This cottage is in an ideal location from which to discover the natural wonders of the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and even the Lake District National Park slightly further afield.
